I think the majority of Taycan sales have been either company cars or via salary sacrifice to take advantage of the new BIK rate of EV's, so its never surprising that they have depreciated a lot more than some other more traditional cars from Porsche. What will be interesting is how the next generation of Boxster and Cayman get on as they are reported to be EV only.

So if I worth 68 now , that's better depreciation than a petrol vehicle

As for insurance , earlier we established on average £200-£300 more expensive which is offset in fuel savings.

There was a small update on the Luton airport car park fire, but official sources are still coy on the details of the car that started it all off.

"Up to 100 cars are set to be removed from the top of a car park destroyed in a major blaze at Luton Airport.

The fire broke out on level three of Car Park Terminal 2 and is thought to have started in a diesel car before spreading rapidly."

I saw a headline on the Times (Newspaper) web site that said a man had been arrested for criminal damage regarding the Luton airport car park fire.

I can't read the article myself.

PS It's on BBC news as well.

I think that's this bit:

Well yes, but I later (5 mins) linked to the BBC article which anyone can read.

PS I had previously seen the Times write up on a YouTube video.

But you don't know for certain what the actual article said. So you were speculating.

Not so, the Times YouTube video gave the salient facts.

I could have linked to that video but some on here seem to poo-poo anything on YouTube.

You only surmise what the article in the Times says. Also the article itself may well making assumptions.
