last week I had a problem with paypal whereby my login and telephone validation was working perfectly but after the successful validation I got a screen saying
"something went wrong, we cant validate that it's you'
This happened when I tried to login to my paypal account and also when paying traders.
After a few telephone conversations with customer support it transpires that paypal customers who don't have a mobile phone may be at a disadvantage. Customer support seem to have fixed if for me, but it took them 2 attempts.
Since this has been resolved I have had 2 emails from supposedly Paypal informing me of purchases I have made...one for a massive tv for £1200 and one for 'target gifts' for £129. Both these emails have links for further info.
coincidence or what!
