He lived just up the road from my wife's parents' farm - he bought cream etc from the farm (they had a jersey herd).
SWMBO knew him and Celia Hammond (mad cat woman) and may well be going to the funeral.
He died in Pembury hospital - very unexpected apparently.

I must admit I've been watching him on YouTube a lot. Pretty very astonishingly very impressive!!!!! Cant put it into words yet. There's plenty more about too. Pity its finite.

Oh yeah, his guitars. Now I believe Strats weren't properly for sale to the general public till '56. About ten 54 models ( out of a very few more) are well known - one of which Mr Gilmour sold for about 2 million for charity.
