Used to love him on Jackanory when I was a child. He and Kenneth Williams were my favourite storytellers. R.I.P. Bernard.

Must do a retrospective on the railway children! I thought Dr Who just got silly si not his best - not his fault eh.

I wonder if they’ll put him in a hole in the road?
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

Just like moi Bernard was born in Oldham .
His longivity can partially be credited to leaving Oldham .
Being a northern industrial town in a post industrial world it as a shocking life expectancy .
