Quite some time ago a bloke messaged me to say his wife was clearing the garage out and did I want a turntable and amplifier he was taking to the tip.

I met him and took the gear and gave him some cash even though he offered me the stuff for free.

Townshend Rock with excalibur tonearm I was well happy..

I sent it to a guy called Matt McNulty who refurbishes rocks. The rock has a small pully with 2 slots for speed so you have to change the belt position each time you swap from 33 to 45 and vice versa.

Matt was working on changing the pulley to 1 speed and using a separate speed controller. He now has the DOG. RESULT. can't wat to hear it.

Very good. Nice power supply ...
Does it have all the bits, ie. the damping trough ?
I used to know a guy in Buckley, he had a late model Rock.

The trough is in the image put your glasses on man (lol)

It was just being speed tested in the picture before being put back together.

I have had the arm re-wired with yes you guessed it Kondo silver wire.

If you'd been a bit less mean with the pixels, I could have sussed it out quicker.
Where's the arm, then ?
What sort of motor do these have ?
