Never really liked the Countach until recently. When it came out it seemed ugly and brutish in comparison to the Mira and the addition of all the spoilers and arches over the years turned it into a boy racer’s delight, but Simon Kidston restored a couple of early Periscopos recently and I’ve had to swallow my opinion They’re gorgeous!

Don’t know if this link will work if you’re not on Instagram:

I found this video somehow cathartic.

I marvel at the skill involved.

I've started to slowly work my way through this series - building a Hawker Typhoon! Some fascinating content.

My late father worked as a shuttering joiner on the turbine hall, then on the gate house and social club, when the station was being built during the 1960s.
I feel that part of him has disappeared with it. It felt surprisingly sad watching that and it had very little to do with the EggFests.

Interesting video about what may be the next generation of braking systems for vehicles.

It's about Brembo, who are a serious player in the braking market.

One for Mr Topps perhaps. Fascinating and complex build and IMO the end result is beautiful

And on the theme of aircraft, these still impress, in spite of being a 70yr old design
