I think you may be confusing the 250 GTO with the 250 GT

Yep, checking on Wiki seems a order or magnitude out if the 3300hp rating is correct.

(3300 * 0,746) / 600 = 4103A

assuming 80% efficiency looks more like 5000A at 600v

Ahh, looking at this:
