I called HFC this morning and managed to cancel the order before it was sent out. I'm now going with the Mundorf ZN's on the coupling stages as recommended - 0.1uF on stage 1 (12SN7 to 6V6) and 0.22uF on stage 2.
Aw shucks !
There's just more body and tone in the upper bass and midrange, with foil.
The last detailed comparison I did was Mundorf ZN vs. Audyn Copper/polyprop, and I slightly preferred the Mundorfs.

Some of the Audyn copper caps are metallised. The speaker xover ones aren't but the Max, suitable for amplifiers is.

Hmm.. yes, the current range is different. I had the previous gen. - blue ones, they were quite big and expensive, definitely foil.

May I request a favour,

If you get a moment, can you please view the first page of this thread, and tell me if the images I posted are visible to you, or whether you just get the 'image' dead link.

I'm currently battling with my email / file hosting provider who are saying they cannot reproduce the problem and think it's my browser. No, not when it's happening on two or three separate browsers, two Macs and an iPad it's not.

I’ve emptied all the caches, no change, nothing doing. I wonder if it is an ISP issue. Mine is Virgin Media. I remember years ago Enjoy the music dotcom would not load at all. I complained endlessly before the problem was resolved. I know I’m talking to an IT pro but have you tried a traceroute to the address of the image to see where the thing grinds to a halt.
