I doubt anyone here interested.

Who can tell, I didn't see your post before it was deleted and declared of no interest.

Paul.
I posted a link to a small job lot of, apparently NOS, vintage valves at what seemed like a favourable price but as I'm no expert/connoiseur on the topic I took Paul's comment at face value and deleted it to avoid wasting people's time.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Here's the link again;

I probably shouldn't have deleted it before but I was a bit put out that what I thought was being helpful was so summarily dismissed...

I think the link is very apt. Nice triode the 26.

It wasn't dismissed by me. I had a look and thought that was a nice selection of worthwhile valves.

No, it's not just you Paul - I over-reacted in a rather childish manner. I've got some stuff going on at the moment that I'm finding very dificult and compounded by the challenges of the ongoing working from home regime - looking back there are a few things I've not dealt with well as a result, including some posts here. I'll keep trying but try to not be trying!Paul Barker wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 1:15 am oops, ignore me, had bad situation t deal with last night and must have let my dark side enter the conscious mind.

The whole furlough/ working from home thing is having a greater effect on people’s mindset than I think many realise. I was off for two months, and it certainly affected me. Probably compounded by the fact I live on my own. I consider myself fairly self sufficient and happy with my own company, yet there was no doubt it was starting to get to me. Those of a more gregarious nature would be even more affected I suppose.

I've been in the house, talking to myself since 2012..rarely get out.
is it any wonder that I've turned into the person I am nowadays!
anybody got an issue with me now I've got the perfect excuse.

Ha !
Yes, I agree with Ali, it's been very solitary for me here too and not helpful. Went into work on Wednesday and it was certainly nice to see people, although not normal, only scattering of people on site. It's OK at home if the weather's nice and you can sit in the sun for tea breaks etc, but otherwise can be hard.

Pretty sure I was starting to become clinically depressed, looking back on it now.
