I had Covid and Flu injections yesterday, and my arm is still a bit sore.

Time for a bit of Des O Connor to sooth my discomfort. 8)

Back to Derriford this morning. Stitches out, dressings off, healing nicely.

The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

For what it's worth I rushed off to get my flu jab yesterday and they also gave me a pneumococcal jab in the other arm. No reaction, couldn't even feel them. Today I was working with a local surgery doing the Audiology thing and the practice nurses were busy giving covid jabs so, in for a penny I thought I'd go for a pound - I had a covid jab on top.
They did a confab about the wisdom of three jabs when I only have two arms first.

Nothing untoward yet - I'm having a lazy day tomorrow so I'll try a little muscle relaxant - Primitivo as I cook something to eat.
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

I woke up with an earache (LH) this morning.

It got worse as the day progressed, and by teatime my left jaw was painful as well. I took a Naproxen about 18:30 and the pain and discomfort wore off quite quickly.

Seems there is not a lot that can be done (unless puss forms) so just a case of seeing how things go. I've still got a few Naproxen left but I won't take any more unless the pain returns.

My dad had something like that sometimes. Not very often, but the side of his neck used to actually swell up.

Its doesn't
The 'triple lock' is a commitment, beyond this legal requirement, to increase State Pensions by whichever is highest of average earnings growth, CPI inflation, or 2.5%
