We had a huge (240V@15.5A) UPS in our workshop that has been written off. The company that make it don't support it anymore so we've had to strip it to remove the batteries before arranging disposal of it.

Inside it is huge great TX that appears to be OK, it took the battery chopped 48V dc pulses up to 240 volts @15 amps. Wiring it back to front appears to produce a 28-ish volt at HUGE current filament TX :lol:

You know where this is going dontcha....

Any of our loony big valve boys want dib's on it? FOC of course. It measures approx 16cmsx12cmsx14cms and weighs a bit. Too good to bin.
