It's people like him who put cyclists at risk by pissing people off.

And these, deserving of their FPNs

Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Hail Caesar ?

Or

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
“If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?”

Hail Caeser will do - fabulously funny but I don't believe you've possible seen it.

#3778 Another Bike Project

Post by Ray P »

I' thought it was time to use the collection of bike parts I've accrued so I bought a frame to hang everything on.

Image

It's a gravel bike, steel frame and carbon forks. It's got thru-axles and the frame will take moderately knobbly tyres up to 38mm wide - I plan to explore more of the off-road cycle routes but I'm too fragile to get into mountain biking.

The frame is sound and true but was filthy and the paint on the frame isn't great, though the forks are pretty good after a good scrub-up.I'm going to do a repaint, but still considering whether to pay someone or to give it a try myself after getting the frame sand-blasted.

The Verenti was one of Wiggle's house brands - Wiggle being no more of course, and soon to be just another part of Mike Ashley's Sports Direct empire, which means I'll not be buying Wiggle any more.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

It's not been loved, Phil, quite a few paint scrapes and some of the mounting lugs have some rust because the previous owner used horrible cheap bolts for mudguards and rack it's not serious at the moment but best to get ride of it
