Not sure. Maybe something from Paul?
That was mine. c3g driving 2a3 I think. With not very good output transformers I think I remember.

I'm on a roll, don't stop me! Here are just a few photos from the next meet I have photos for. Again any assistance in filling in the details appreciated.

Fantastic !
Yes, first pentode-driven 300B I was really happy with - about 6 months after the WE91B amp ( after Thorsten ) that was good, but lacked midrange tone. More driver current is better ! Funny - that breadboard and most of the stuff on it is still in my front room now, driving everything I've worked on in the last 10 years - only the 4P1L (pentode) drivers and their Lehane filament supplies have really changed the set-up.

The one Peter and I came to was September '07. Witham Wobbler etc....

It's nearly 20 years since me and Paul barker first met up to compare amps/ speakers / etc.. he introduced me to the world designs forum and I introduced him to the very best of British audio...px4 valves
I've not looked back...
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

Yeah, it's a bit scary that it was 10 years ago. Where's it gone?

Oh dear - nostalgia ain't what it used to be

lots happening right now including...my phones about to conk out, Anna's booking Traviata and Ive opened a NZ pinot noir, whole nother story ... fer gods sake its cheaper to go to the opera in Budapest inc hotel, flights than London.

I like Budapest...

Blimey that seems like half a lifetime ago.

Paul Barker and his mighty 212 sounds rather phallic really...

That's just the output stage of Paul's 212 amp btw !
Look like the 212s are being driven by MH4s into globe PX25s.
Terrifying considering the value of PX25s these days. :D
