I'd love to have seen this version of the band. BIll Kreuzmann and Micky Hart on drums.
And of course Gerry still so wonderful on guitar, endless beauty.

Cheerful latin jams from Dizzy.
Great for sitting out with, in a sunlit garden.
Love this collection, which I bought from Woolies 30 years ago. It was the CD that started my love for the latin jazz groove.

Now 1985 CD on a 1985 vintage CD player.

Yamaha DX7 synths, Linn drum machines, Fairlights and Emulators everywhere.
I well remember the heyday of the Northern working men’s clubs and the turns that either did quite decent covers of these records or murdered them without mercy.
Tubeless Hearts, The Gents, Dragonfly, Bliss, Mad Jack’s Travelling Circus. Martin bass bins pinning the audience to the back wall of the concert room. Those were the days. Virtually no WMCs anywhere round here now.
These tracks are actually not bad at all. Fun is the word. :D

The concert last night was quite good.

Whilst queuing up for the accessible entrance (for Jeans mum) I heard a voice calling "Phil", I turned round and it was another forum member and his wife. :o

I won't reveal his name in case he'd rather not be known as an Andre Rieu supporter.

Anyway it was nice to say hello. :)

You think that but he may have intended to blow up the place in the interest of art and was only dissuaded by seeing you would be in the audience as well.

That is an interesting scenario.

The venue (First Direct Arena) was almost filled to capacity, and everyone there seemed to revel in the atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Although the audience mainly consisted of "mature" people, there was a smattering of other age groups as well.

It was phil, what a coincidence being just behind you amongst all those people.
We enjoyed the concert very much too.

"The Prodigy are an English electronic dance music band from Braintree, Essex, formed in 1990" (32 years ago)

"Massive Attack are an English trip hop collective formed in 1988" (34 years ago)

Not sure any of us have any hope for credibility :-)
