What is this alien concept - too much beer does not exist.

On the knackered cart front, many condolences Dave. I've lost a couple over the years due to Mother-in-Law/duster incident, and son and heir emulating Daddy (he was around 2 at the time).

Word! I only drink beer so it doesn't fall into younger folks. The more I drink the less there is for young ones to get rowdy on it....

I remember seeing the phrase "Drink Canada Dry" somewhere.
I attempted to to it, and failed miserably.
'Twas fun trying though !

I was just about to go to bed last night and there was a knock at the door, it was Neil Young! In a high nasal Canadian drawl he said "Dave, sorry to hear about yer Denon Cartridge" ....

"Blimey, thanks Neil. I didn't know you lurked on DIY HiFI forums". I said.

We chatted for a while and then he asked if he could have a look at the busted 103, I showed him, he examined it close up for a bit and then whipped out his acoustic and sang...

"I've seen yer needle and the damage dun".

<FX> Bass drum thud and strike on a splash cymbal :)

I thought of that at 3AM this morning.

I'm sure Neil would be very sympathetic, so it's so isn't so far fetched really .

Here's what my luvverly Bird and Son did to my Nekkid 103...

Does that panel think it's worth getting repaired? I'm back to a new bog-standard 103 again in the mean time.

You could always use it in the cartridge exchange that these guys do https://shop.mantra-audio.co.uk/acatalo ... idges.html

I think they'll take any cartridge, even completely knackered ones.
