A couple of photo's of my latest Schroeder effort in solid Ally bar to try to match the Ortofon SL15.
Amazing how easy it is to change the sound with a bit of pvc tape between the ally cartridge carrier and the ally arm. Without it there was great treble detail with little bass with it the bass came back better than the Ebony arm less boom and the treble was down a little but sweeter still better than the Ebony.
So at the mo I think its better than the Ebony same length 320mm but heavy.

Yes face down with a hole in the head, defacing a coin of the realm done properly. Still owe the Mrs the quid.
She's always having ago at the state of the room and I'm wasting my time, the other day she came in said it sounded wonderfull perfect etc. now you can clear the room and do some decorating
