Ergo.... M75ED = a good cartridge to sleep to
Must be why my Lenco sounds utterly uninteresting. Must buy something else.
Much to learn there is.

I used one for years on JTS's old belt drive plastic Pioneer when the kids were little and we didn't listen to vinyl much. I used to think it they were OK until I heard what you lot do with a 103, a knitting needle and an old Idler drive TT.

I had to swap back a few years ago after a 103 gotten busted by Jonny Starbuck accidentally, meh, deffo a step backwards IMO, very warm and smoothed over.

M75ED:

Flat, Neutral, unexaggerated, precise, dull, vanilla, unoffensive.

Does the job but it's not exactly the most engaging cartridge in the world.

DTB: Eternally single? You and Julie had a row?

Nah  We've never rowed, really.

'Eternally Single' is one of the Post Rankings. I feel it reflects the amount of time we spend building/listening and swotting-up instead of going out on-the-pull..... :-)

There's different 'ranks' for different amounts of posts.

BTW read an old review yesterday fo rthis Shure, he sez yeah treble may seem a bit "dull" but "it is in there".

Guess it's just their impression (Shure) what it should be like :?:
