I got an Email from a real person (I think) at Evri, she is going to "escalate* the problem of my two missing parcels. She says she will let me know more tomorrow morning.
"Update on your claim

Good morning Philip,

Despite my efforts to escalate this yesterday I can see there's been no further progress on your parcel.

I'm really sorry about this. If you could bear with me a little longer I am going to ask the local depot to do a thorough search for your parcel as it looks as though it has been misplaced.

This can take up to 48 hours so I will be back in touch in 2 days to confirm next steps. As always you can reply to this email if you have any questions & I'll be happy to help.

Kind Regards,
Claire"

Evri has now let me know that my two parcels are officially lost.

What a bunch of tossers.

Then you’re a very lucky chap, and probably a statistical anomaly.
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

I've had six Evri deliveries in the past two weeks - must be cheap. They have all arrived safely and before the tracking software said they would arrive - thanks to neighbour 'cisco I was out. thanks also to my porch 'cos my neighbour can't look out for my deliveries all the time.

Lucky!?

I'm still waiting on Parcel Force but that could be the sender's tardiness in getting the parcel to them.

I sent a parcel to LaSpezia in Italy with DHL at 11-30am on Monday. It arrived safely 23 hours later, not to a street address but to a Yacht on the quayside in the harbour. Phroaaaarrrrr etc.

Confused of Bedford writes....

I'm too simple for such sophistication. Presumably Lord Dave will '...get it done'.

It would be nice to think that.

It would be pretty stupid to think that.

Actually, I don't think it would be nice to think that at all. Just like the last thing the Tories were going to "Get It Done" I don't want it done and it shames me that as a country we are trying to do it.

Maybe, but in the case of the government I again reference my smiling psychopath amendment.
