Apart from Nick the big boys are not doing anything, or doing it at a slow pace.

:lol: Agree with Darren, I listened to Nick and Andrew chatting the night before WF 07 about SET's, Phono pre's and Cartridge loading and understood about 4 words in the entire conversation.

"Dave get beer now!"...I think that was the gist of it... :wink:

a few lads came around to mine last night... simon told me about this...

... well I'm here now

nice site darren...

just swapped a 401 last week.. was hoping to swap it for a 301 grease.. but i ended up with a pair of 57's...mmm
if i sell the 57's i may be after a 301... then something slate to put it on..

Hi Guys

I was one of the lads at Steve's last night so you can blame Simon for my presence here :D

Now....... about that push pull amp I'm on with (calm down I'm only kidding)

Last night Steve lent me some fat bottle Mullard EL37s to try in my choked 76 driven SE amp.
I'm besotted! He'll have to prise them out of my dead fingers!

I haven't been able to turn the system off all day. funny thing is I am losing interest in doing the pp amp now. I expect I'll get round to it.....maybe.

I would try a dry tissue assuming all the crud has been removed.
