Well, the data is saved, that was my goal.
I think the main reason why Europeans no longer want to travel to the USA is the big time difference. For me, it's now 7pm. In the USA it's now 1933.

Yes, thank you. At least the wealth of information the forum contains exists for reference for some, but sadly not all because I suspect many have no idea it still exists.
Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?

I just had a look at the WD forum members list in order of greatest activity, and the vast majority of members who have contributed more than 300 posts are active on this forum as well, so I would assume would be more likely to communicate through here than through there, since most have moved on from WD products into the darker realms of DIY. Of those who aren’t members here, many are known to have become inactive a long time ago having either lost interest in the hobby or in some cases shuffled off this mortal coil.

I have no idea how many units Matthew sells from the WD range, but the fact that the products are still available would indicate that enough are going out to new owners to make it worth his while to carry on, so the question really isn’t so much why are none of the regulars posting there any more, but more why are none of those new customers joining the forum?
