Speaking of trains, I wondered if this was Phil on the Nottingham Station footbridge - probably not very likely ...

Not me squire, long time since I was there, late 1950s from memory. And, my white trainers are not that white.

Not good. Not good at all...

Not that state actors would be interested in little old me, but thankfully all of my esp32 devices are behind pretty serious defences This is not a good look for Espressif.

phew... I have retired all mine now. They all seemed to have hardware issues revolving round the watchdog timer and soft reboot area.

thinking about it a bit more....my esp32s were all standalone with sim900 mobile modems so I doubt I would have been vulnerable.

the current weather stations are all off the shelf ecowitt interfaces....but if I recall they use the espressif predecessor to esp32 so I may still be vulnerable.

Very good.

Google street view.

I'm doing a train trip to Milton Keynes soon and was scouting railway stations. Should be an interesting trip, and alternative to going to Kings Cross then back up the country.

Have anyone noticed the increasing use of AI chatbox stuff in sellers' adverts on eBay? Easy to spot and utterly verbose - useless. If I read, for example, '....that will take your guitar playing to the next level...' or blahblah guitar amplifier is perfact for guitars, just one more time, I will scream.

I see that a lot in the motoring section.

Sad really. :(

But it makes it so much easier to decide whether you are dealing with a straight seller. :D

The example quoted is not so much 'verbose' as bullshit

I was looking at a TT2 on eBay the other day which was apparently “designed for acoustic solutions” and “engineered for connectivity”.

Have to say that I don’t remember having either of those aims in mind at the time, although I guess if I hadn’t engineered it for connectivity it wouldn’t have provided an acoustic solution for anyone.
What will happen comes closer. What has happened goes further away.
