To right Ali, it's out of warranty unfortunately but it's a comon fault on her model, so hoping for bmw to admit a portion of responsibility
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

It's a 2 series she bought after her hip replacement op
She could get in and out of it easily
Looking at the net it's a common fault on that model and they have replaced a quite a few foc, so fingers crossed.

Realised today that despite IP and MAC addresses both being octets, IPs are (nearly) always decimal and MACs are always hex. I have no idea why - probably to do with non-techies not being familiar with hex and they are more likely to be concerned with IPs than MACs

Also you can generated a hex IP address that looks like a four part DNS name. De.ad.be.ef

Basildon social services have funded 4 weeks recovery for Mum in a care home at Laindon, quite close to Mike H's old stamping ground.

They think the move will be tomorrow. (Tuesday).

Ah! 0xDEADBEEF - the absolute favourite for poisoning stacks and pool memory... used it loads of times... an alternative to 0xBADCAFE.

Here's an example I wrote about 10 years ago for stack checking on MSP430s... as it's only a 16-bit machine, I only used the 0xBEEF part...

I always used 0xAA55 mainly because it’s a nice binary pattern, but I suppose anything recognisable would do. No idea if that is more or less likely to appear than any other pattern though - I guess it depends on context

Nice bit of code and bookmarked - thanks

Trying to think where there's a care home in Laindon. Did a Google ..... there's several! Have you got a name for it?

Ah right yes. Don't know it that well tho, and the area more so when I was a kid. Bet it's changed tho.

So it's the 4 weeks is it, and then?
