The point being, as you've obviously missed it or are simply trolling/attempting to be witty, is that using a QR code is identical in every way to clicking on an unknown short code link and folk have been told for years that that is an unsafe thing to do.

Yes, it's all very sad, but it's not new - even the QR variant is several years old.

You'd think there's nothing more important happening in the world.

If you thought my post was of such little importance, why bother to reply ?

Even if it is "old news" there may be people (like me) who had no knowledge of it. Can't hurt to remind .
