Nick, a while back you recommended using https://pwsafe.org/
Is this still your recommendation or is there something better to consider now?

Ah. Drinking a cuppa at 3:20 AM and just saw this...
I still use PasswordSafe a little bit, but because it's just local, I now use LastPass for the bulk of my password management as I need synchronization across Windows, iOS, macOS and Android for my businesses. It's quite cool as I now have no duplicate passwords and have several 100 complex and unique passwords that frankly I don't know. The master passwords, e.g. for my key mail accounts, are not in there, and LastPass don't actually have access to your passwords - they only ship encrypted versions around and can't get the plaintext - decryption is local on the device you are using.
1Password also gets good reviews but doesn't really have a free version.
Tom's Hardware has a recent comparison:
https://www.tomsguide.com/uk/news/lastpass-vs-1password - this is not a full review, but basically says they're much the same thing.
I'm happy with LastPass - it does what I want and syncs across all my devices & key platforms.

I agree on LastPass recommendation - I've been using it for several years across various devices - it just does the job, no fuss.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!
