A couple of years ago, when Space X were expanding they took one of the English directors from BMW Oxford as Vice President of Manufacturing. I knew him, and it was obvious he was going somewhere, but I did not expect it to be Space X.
Several others from BWM Oxford followed and now I see that the VP of Quality Assurance is also from BMW Oxford, via BMW China. Rumour has it that he had annoyed so many people that he was sent to China, cos Coventry was not far enough away.
Perhaps the car influence is showing with the ability to reverse.
If a Mini breaks down you can call the AA, not quite the same in space.
