#1 Heard these guys on Monday night
These guys were part of the prematch buildup on Monday night, and I was quite taken with what I heard www.hunterandthebear.co.uk

did like that a lot Chris, well spotted. It was up and compelling.
I have no idea why but I had a picture of James Taylor arguing with Roger Chapman.........I'm pretty sure I'm in need of some therapy, or stronger drugs.

Yeah, nice.
Its the vocals. they're the stand-out for me too.
Reminded me a bit of an acoustic version of the band called 'Live', remember them?

They were just there on the outside stage when we went to the footie, and I was ordering food when they were announced, so I missed what was said.

Definitely a bit of Michael Stipe in there, mixed up with some Hootie and Soul Asylum I reckon.
Going back to Hunter and the Bear the music (not the vocals) remind me a bit of Punch Brothers, possibly Seth Lakeman, but the mandolin screams Peter Buck at me (just to continue the REM comparison).
