I know that these are celestial names (Pluto, Orion etc.), but I can't help but notice that PLUTO was a top secret pipeline delivering fuel under the English Channel to the beach heads after D-Day... PLUTO = PipeLine Under The Ocean.

PLUTO ran very near us and there is a section at a local war memorial (in Marden). There is also a once-secret PLUTO pumping station disguised as a small cottage on Dungeness beach.

I wonder if there is a connection, the original PLUTO being a pipe and all that...

Steves crackers horns were lovely. Dunno what else to say about them, for a lash up without its normal bottom end support, it was lovely
Whether the “crackers” was a reference to the horns or the maker, is a compliment I take either way. As Steve S said they were excelling in the male vocals, but not quite there on the females vocals, if we had had time to play I may have lifted the crossover point to the tweeter, to see if it improved the female vocals. Getting there late due to snow, I didn’t get a chance to equalise to FR, whilst the room was quiet. The ease at which Chris did the sweeps highlighted, that my old laptop and software could do with a refresh and a crash course for myself in using REW to improve my measurements.

Those EL34’s and bric-à-brac came from me... hopefully will be of some use.

They are the LXMinis, - https://www.linkwitzlab.com/LXmini/Introduction.htm - not the Plutos. The Plutos are an older design.

The Plutos? It was so wrong how right they sounded. Id have them happily!

They dont look at all right but their sound far excells over their looks, then, because they sound so good you settle that issue in youre thinking, and actually enjoy the fun look too!

I'd forgot we had a great evening session, nick dragged his lowther quasars down and give them a go on my mofo and then my little one watt amp.
Andrew insisted on a massive attack mezzanine work out, that soon overloaded the p650, but with reduced volume it did very well.

One watt is easily overloaded though.
But it's a really nice little amp all the same.

I left just after 8.00pm so missed out on what happened after that ?
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number
