By lunchtime Jim I would say that you feel very much a part of it all..
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

I’ll only be there for the Saturday Steve. Of course I’ll pay for both days.

Done my test this morning and it’s negative.

I have COVID tests twice weekly, and I'm clear.
Much to learn there is.

Not long now. I'm only coming for the Saturday and it's a long round trip from Somerset so I'm hoping for clear roads. I would normally plan to set off before 6am but with Judy's poor health it'll be later as I'll need to make sure she's set up for the day on her own - if stuff happens on the way please save me some grub!

Steve, what's the final cost and can I do a bank transfer for the amount?
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Yep, clear here too.

I would prefer cash at lunchtime ray
It's £15 per person for the event. No charge for the sunday
But I'll be putting a tip on top of that for the bar kitchen staff..
It up to everyone if they want to contribute a tip for the staff
I'll be putting £20 in total

Negative test, so off I went and only 4 1/2 hours and 155 miles later I'm sat in Owston Hall Hotel.

Got to wait til it's dark before setting off for the pub, it's more of a challenge that way.

Cheers
Richard
