Yes need to check size, the originals are huge.

Nearest I have is Kemet 47,000uf PEH200 but they are 63v and 85 degrees.

I only have two, but they won't be expensive.

IF 63v would do, and you have room for two, I also have a few Kemet 22,000uf PEH169 105 degrees, and they have an end stud, but it could be removed.

The schematic I found suggests < 50v rails which seems about right for a 100w amp.

I looked on Ebay and most of the PSU capacitors offered for the Krell amps are rated at 100V.

Thanks for the offer Phil, appreciated. May take you up on it, though I've a vague memory of buying some large Panasonics years ago that might fit the bill, I'll need to dig them out of storage to check.

Similar in weight to some of my older-model PA amps. There's a reason I moved across to class D.

Part of me wonders if those old amps could be converted to class A. Big PSU, lots of heatsink...

head scratching again...I thought the ksa100 was to all intents and purposes class A. How far do you have to drive it to get it out of class A?
