If you waited for the science, then obviously before then you would do nothing extra, take it, wear it as a hat, etc.
Maybe not intent, but had the same effect. Anyway, who cares? Moving swiftly on...

Not sure about the credited author of this, i.e. I can't find the original post, but it reads well...

Does anyone have any first hand (or immediate family) knowledge on persons suffering long term joint pain after the second Pfizer Covid jab ?

None at all.

A friend, a G.P. said that she and her colleagues were worried about Long Covid but not at all from the perspective of physical ailments or consequences but the potential enormity of psychological problems ...

I assume you mean those that were not suffering long term joint pain before the second Pfizer Covid jab?

Snigger..... I was thinking, as we trudged along the shore of Coniston, that unrepresentative though that my sample is, most of the folk I know are well into our third covid jab. Nobody has any symptoms of anything covid related except one chum who has steadfastly refused the jabs and has just left hospital having been very very ill but plans to return to work, she should retire with or without grace...

Maybe a call to 111 might yield some answer.

Predictably, I would also suggest getting the vitamin D level checked. This doesn't even require a GP visit, you can order a home test kit these days.

Well, two particular people (Mother and Daughter) who do suffered from joint pains, but the second Pfizer jab made it much worse. Within 2 days of the second jab.

The local doctor gave the Daughter Co-codamol as pain killers but they did not mitigate the cause. A second prescription (given almost unwillingly) is keeping the pain level down to a bearable level.

Is the 2nd prescription Steroid medication?

IME Co-codomal helped muscle pain but not joint pain. Just IME.

The second prescription was a repeat of the first.(Co-codomal)

But, I'm not sure telephone consultations with GPs are as accurate as face to face.

I'm hoping to get a real doctors appointment for my sleep apnoea when I ring up tomorrow.

I've just had my Covid booster jab (13:52) and this time it's a "Comirnaty" variant.
