Isn't the least worst the best by definition? Anyway, so it will be while people are prepared to make excuses for, or 'turn a blind eye' to, the behaviour, it dilutes the consequences and so perpetuates the situation.

It's such a shame that people have to decide to support what they consider to be the least worst political party, rather than the best.

I thing I'm done with this matter now.
I dont think I commented on who or what I supported.

No, definitely not.

Until we make it a criminal offence for people in public office who tell lies, or deliberately mislead us then politics is doomed.

Well, then we need to vote for someone else then, but while the press are how they are I can't see that happening.

You know Nick, I'm so thick I can only see two categories of people in your quote.

1) only a fool

2) someone duped by the Tory press.

I don't consider myself in either category, but according to you I must be in one or the other. :?
with any 2 categories there are three choices....logic 101

however, sometimes a can infer b, which a pedant might argue brings you back to 2

Planning is proceeding for the Tour of Britain 2021 in early September.

No stages in 'God's own country' this time but I've got one close-by down in South Devon and Mark is looking good with two stages in Wales (routes to be announcwed). Some work colleagues and I are planning a group ride down to Torbay/Exeter area to take in the Devon stage.

As a Hampshire man, now living in Somerset, I know that Goc is pretty much anywhere south of the Thames but there's no harm it letting people think it's elsewhere...
