We went on a coach trip yesterday and we had a couple of hours in Wymondham. One charity shop was selling their CDs @ 6 for £1, so I purchased a few. I was going to list them but DTB might have had a laughing fit.
Also, tonight I won an Ebay auction for a job lot of CDs @ £5 + post. So I'll soon have a lot more "good" music to listen to.

I've just won another Ebay auction, this time for 86, mainly classical, CDs.
£21.49 inc carriage.

No effects from my second jab with the A-Z vaccine... after 4 days. That's been handy, what with mum coming out of hospital at short notice on Friday.

This job lot was delivered yesterday, 60 CDs in total but no Perry Como.
A good mix of classical, and easy listening. There were quite a few that Jean likes, and not many for the reject box.

Me too . I'd not had my appointment for the second but Sue got hers for two days ago so I turned up on spec and asked nicely and they sorted me out. After the first vaccination I wasn't looking forward to the second at all but so far nothing apart from a slightly sore arm. But I was expecting this as it felt like they used a rusty old 6" nail...IslandPink wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 12:13 pm No effects from my second jab with the A-Z vaccine... after 4 days. I've been outside in the sun this morning playing a bowls match, 4 wood singles.
I lost 22 - 11, but he was a much better player so I don't feel disheartened.
This afternoon I am marker for another bowls match which Jean is playing in, so more time in the sun.

Anyone got any recommendations for a 100mm/4" dust/chip extractor?
I'm leaning towards the Axminster Craft AC153e ATM as the reviews are very good, but the Itech DC002 looks excellent value for money, but is a beast and needs a 16A supply (which I do have)

I have an early version of the axminster one.. It all depends what your extracting - fine for a thickness planner or a spindle moulder, big chips in high volume. For my dimension saw, sanders and my cnc router I use a 2kw numatic vacuum cleaner drawing the air through a cyclonic filter fitted to the top of a bin. Works well only the fine dust ends up in the vacuum cleaner.
The bigger one would only have benefit if your generating industrial amounts of wood waste. I friend who does woodworking as a semi job, has the Axminster type, but instead of having the lower bag he made a box with a drawer with a bigger capacity, which he pulls the drawer out when full and empties it, no bags at all disposed of.

I was thinking of possibly adding a cyclone in front of it at a later date and upgrading the filters to proper PM2.5 - the default filters are PM30.vinylnvalves wrote: ↑Wed Jun 02, 2021 8:35 pm I have an early version of the axminster one..
