I'm whispering this but I think you've played some interesting stuff Phil :-). I remember in particular a choral piece through your baffles with 18" woofers - it was like the choir was amassed in front of me. I feel like you used a GM70 amp maybe?

And for balance some I was less keen on of course :-). But that's true for many ;-).

Thanks Simon, thank-you for the positive comment. :D

I've dug out another couple of discs to bring, but I'm sure 2/3 of the ones I'm bringing won't get played.

Thank f**k for that I hear you all say. :lol: :lol:

One less to bring. :wink:

EDIT. There were actually two Des O'Connor discs in the pile, and neither had dik a dum dum on them.

So now, two less to bring. :lol:

PS I can't find Jimmy Young singing "the man from Laramie", oh dear. :)

I had a boys day out yesterday with a couple of colleagues - we're all of a similar age and degree of wrinkling. We went to the Tank Museum at Bovington;

Well worth a visit if you're down in this part of the world.

This reminds me of the time when a colleague went to Bovington, parked the hire car in the chevroned area, which said “ no parking tanks in operation” for a few minutes To find returning to the car to find it had been flattened by a chieftain reversing. Took ages to get a replacement hire car to get back after the visit. I remember the paperwork being interesting when he got back too. We didn’t take the p**s out of him much :D . It was even mentioned on his leaving do almost a decade later by the MD.

Yes, and it has changed and improved a lot since I last visited - it used to be a big shed with rows of tanks but now it's got themed areas with lots more information and context.

Tank museum trivia time.

The two heaviest tanks at the museum weigh 78 and 80 tons - which country built them?
