In the sport of bowling, the bowls are referred to as woods. Because, in the old days, they were made of wood.
Yup. I know, I've played it, no really.

I had a good teacher, my Dad played competitively at County level in the 1970's. He used Henselite woods, that weren't made from wood :)

Phroaaaaaar!
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

I had a friend once, called Woody. I haven't seen him in quite a while.

My grandad played bowls in the 60s and 70s, I always thought when I retired I may start to play, it appealed to me, and still does, but since retirement I've realised that I'm not going to have the time to do most of the things I thought I'd fill my time with ..
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

Some of my photos hosted on my web site (incuding smileys) stopped showing on the Bantam forum, turns out my security certificate had expired 4th April (didn't even know it had one!) so I had to BUY another one late last night. That fixed it. Image

I purchased a diesel fuel filter for the CRV some time ago, I went for a Bosch one 'cos the genuine Honda one was inordinately expensive. I had seen a YouTube video on the procedure and was armed with the correct tool for unscrewing the filter housing lid.

The filter is hidden down behind the air filter box but not inaccessible as such.

After removing the battery and air filter box I experienced some tightness in my chest, not heart related but I had a rest for half an hour, then carried on.

I should have got some diesel to top up the filter bowl, but forgot, so a jar full of central heating oil did the job. I'll send the revenue 0.5 pence to cover the duty.

The battery is on charge at the moment, so I'll put that back in after lunch and see if it starts.

Yes, agree with Ali. How do you know it’s not heart related?

I'm sure I just strained a muscle lifting the battery out.

12 months of relative inactivity does not help.
