What are you after Will? I drew it up in AutoCAD - can probably send you a full scale drawing to use as a template if you like?

Simon,

Any chance you can email me a copy the CAD file you did for the 401?

A mate at work has just given me a 401 for a winter project.
It needs a thorough strip down and service with lots of L&TC. However, he says there is no slop in the main bearing and runs just fine, it's just that it's been stored in his cellar for a while.

Checking my local directory there is a Company just down the road from me that offers a water jet cutting service. So me thinks a slate plinth similar to Wills may be on the cards. Funds permitting.

Will,

Can you email or pm me where you sourced the gold plated spikes you used on your recent build.

Thanks in advance

Simon,

got the CAD file thanks. :)

Will,

thanks for the link for the support spikes. :)
I've sent the ebay seller a email how to buy more than 1-set without incurring double/treble p&p charges.

I see the auction is for 4-spikes though you only pay for three. If I am going for a removable arm board and twin tier I need a total of 9-spikes,yes?. So buying 3-sets I'll have 3-spikes spare should anyone want them?

Sorry not been around much for a while.

If anyone needs drawing of the 301/401 templates they available here as Dxf, dwg or pdf files, prepared by Martin Clark and myself. (Scroll down the left side menu till you find Garrard Templates)
