My late dad worked for Laing construction on Eggborough when it was being built. He was a shuttering joiner. Told me years later it was a crap job with little skill compared that needed to work as a joiner on residential housing, but the money was good.
He worked on Drax, Ferrybridge C, the two West Burtons, and Cottam power stations. I think there's only West Burton and Drax left out of those now.

Oh the horror! I loved eggborough. It was HUGE. 'old on.....only four Towers down.... are they keeping the last four for when we all realise Boris' bollocks is just hot air.

Were the dolphons consulted? Have we won the Olympics, does Boris care about Afghanistan? does anyone. I was talking to a chum from Mauritious today.... the tide is riding high.

Woke up this morning....
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number
