Ali will be in morning..https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-54001874.

Strange but a member of the rollers used to live near me in Newcastle when I was a student in the early 80’s... he was always in our local pub recounting the good time, over a few pints with anyone who would listen.

I will get back in my box and let the general chit chat get back to “playing with woods and vice jaws”

. I remember asking a new girl friend and she saying apologetically well there was the Bay City Rollers but actually no.... and I thought...awful. But we didn't last long anyway. There's lots I ove about Scitland but no..... not BCR. One might hazard that they were the original boy band that spawned so much.....rubbish.

Enya....all is peaceful and calm.

I reckon there's a hidden message in these sort of stories - it's telling me that the 70's are a long time ago.

Hang on, hang on. I was 10 in 1975 and we lived on a farm . It was brilliant. Power cuts were fun because you could light candles.

My recurring nightmare is that when I end up dribbling in the corner of the old folk’s home when all sense has finally left me they’ll play me the Bay City Rollers to try to kindle happy memories of my long lost youth. Should tip me neatly over the edge.
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

They might mix it up a bit and play some Showaddywaddy too. All the 70 somethings say the 70’s were great.. that’s not my recollection- power cuts, 3 day week and piles of rubbish as the bin men were on strike. It was no wonder Maggie got into power.
