Hi Darren-when you are settled in perhaps you should organise a Welshfest (or an open day) and have an Audiojumble as well ?

Just be sure to tell the sheep. (about the welly wearers !)

Hi Philip,

Nice idea, perhaps a bring and swap/sale party ?

I do intend to have a proper dedicated listening/demo room. But it will take a while as we have a lot to do first. If anyone can accept us as we are in the meantime then you are most welcome to drop in if you are over this way.

I know Greg was close by last week, but I was unable to meet up as I was moving things into storage most of the week. A good opportunity missed. Sorry Greg it would have been good to have another chat face to face.

Looks like I will also have to miss this years London Heathrow show, But I'm sure Peter, Nick, Andy & Dr John will be there with a Slatedeck and WD gear.

We were hoping to have moved at least a month ago, but that's house buying for you !!

D Day is this Thursday, been packing for a month and I'm still at it today.....

Hi Darren,

Good luck with the move. I couldn't contact you last week because couldn't get a signal on my phone anywhere. In anycase, it was such good weather we went walking in the mountains every day. My legs are now knackered and my knees have swollen up like baloons  Gone back to work for a rest!

Best wishes,

Greg

Ha, I think the weather must have broke just for your hols Greg, it's gone dull again now. After all this years rain you were very lucky indeed.
Busy with tourists around here at the mo....

Right, I'm busy, not that you would believe it with all my post today.
But you gotta keep having a rest haven't you, packing and bringing stuff downstairs is hard work !!!

Thanks Guys,

I'm sure there is David C, I keep finding stuff I'm sure I've never seen before. Can't think who could have put it there?

Ah, some of it must be mine then...

Have you found those 301's in Slate plinths that I put in your garage/loft for safe keeping...or those genuine WE300B's...or those Radford amps...or those (insert other rare valuable random things)

I did find a mint pair of "metal" London Decca's I didn't know I had this morning. That was nice...like I need another pair

But nothing really exotic, just interesting stuff to us raincoats.....

Hi ya Darren, in your description of Metal London Deccas are you reffering to the Unipivot tonearm or a special Cartridge?

If its the Tonearm...yus I might be interested in one of them once you've settled in. I've got a cheapy plastic version at the mo that cost a whopping £17 off flea bay a while back (little did i know it'd been glued together at sometime after a snappage in one of its previous lives).

Let me know if you decide to off load them,

Ta,
