#1 NOS Siemens and Halske ECC801S

Post by JohnG »

I am putting the feelers out for a measured Quad Matched set of Siemens and Halske, ECC801S Valves.
I have a interest in how they will perform in a Phonostage vs a ECC83 set up.
If there are any available or a close equivalent, I would be interested to be aware of them if they are available.
I am not pushing for a purchase at present, just trying to find a if any are available, if these types are to be trialed.

This search can be edited.
A matched pair is now a option, as they can be used with another valve type pair.

I suspect on this board your efforts will be wasted , as a lot of us moved on from chasing the very best low-current valves like ECC83's years ago, and started exploring higher-current stuff for phonos etc and generally the wider options of NOS stuff for custom circuits.

I'm all ears, can you let me know a phonostage designs you are referring to, that are using high current valves.
