Don’t send the D3a’s Nick I’ve found some at the lockup.

The concept of 'surplus' D3a's amuses me. Rather similar to recipes involving 'left-over wine' :)

Langrex have 720 of them if you need any.

Was it a group buy we did of a pack of boxed D3a originally? Im well happy.

Anyway I sold the last of those to Andrew, and thought thats all mine gone.

But at lockup it seems I bought some brand new looking unboxed loose ones. They’ll be fine, but anyway enough to make sure there are two a close enough match.

Also found 201a’s. But they wont fit this project. I could at some time build all globe low powered amp with 201 : 201 : 45 all globes and permaloy parafeed outputs. Maybe have enough Nickel to build Interstage also one pair anyway “shoddy” as Dartfords best bass player would say.

On the website I'm seeing 91 + 38 + 16 of the types they have.
Where do you see 720 ?
Or did you speak to them recently ?

I do remember buying a couple of packs of 6 in the Siemens boxes when they were more common.

It may be that their list I looked at is out of date.

I put d3a in the valve search here https://www.langrex.co.uk/stocklist/

I’m seeing 730 on the PDF list of valves on their website.

Yes so I'm not sure which is correct.
Notably they are cheaper than many of the sellers on EBay.
