#1 Freddie's birthday

Post by ed »

whoopeee it's Freddie's birthday(maybe)

I bought him a new bridge(to cure his tinnitus, aka Fender bridge buzz)
and I found a set of strings in the bookcase(must have been there 20 years, can't remember buying them)

happy birthday Freddie.

it wasn't such a result in the end......

all fettled, and then unpack the new strings only to find they are medium scale....pah!!!!

fortunately I unwound the old ones carefully so they are back on at the mo........more hand in pocket(£40 I wasn't expecting)..waily waily

the bridge is the biz though...was a bit trixy to get the intonation on E string, it being a tad worn, but it'll do temporaryillly

I went to play Erik (the Warwick) through an amp the other day and got no sound. "It was fine last time I gigged it....".

Maybe I should gig more often...

At least the battery didn't leak.

I think it did, all the current had fallen out, arf.

Yeah I was lucky there, it was an old Duracell Procell, that could have made a nasty stain in the saucy wood work.

Ebay - genuine 2007 Duracell Procell, lightly used, one careful owner. Rare collectable.
