#1 Purifi PTT6.5 drivers

Post by iansr »

If you’ve looked at this then you probably already know that everyone who has tested / reviewed these drivers has concluded that they are extraordinary.
If you buy 6 you get a price break to £226 ea (plus shipping and plus import VAT). I know someone else besides me who wants a pair so we are looking for one other to join our mini GB GB 😎 to get the 6. Let me know if you are interested.

Do they have to be six of the same type ?
I've got a project in the offing with a friend from work, we haven't made final decisions yet , I would think the 8 ohm ones with the ±10mm linear excursion are the likely ones we will choose.

The other person I referred to has dropped out. How many would you be wanting?

For anyone who isn’t aware of Purifi, they are the Blind Faith of the hi fi world (younger viewers can ask their Dads), the difference being that Purifi have actually delivered some stellar products 😉. There is an interesting interview with Lars Risbo on Erin’s Audio YouTube channel for anyone interested in the development of the PTT6.5.

I'll be very interested to hear how you get on with them. They've been on my radar for a while, but I can't quite justify the price at the mo.
