#1 Linsley-Hood Class A Amp - Unfinished Project

Post by Ray P »

I'm never going to get around to finishing this project so offer it up as someone might make use of it.

The amp is the John Linsley-Hood (JLH) Class A design and is based on the free PCBs that SiliconRay offer on their website. There's a thread about building the amp here;

The amplifier PCBs have been partially populated (PRP resistors), still needing some output transistors and a couple of caps.

I also have four regulated supplies for the required +/-volts. These are also mostly populated but you'll need to source some regulator devices depending on how much quiescent current you want to run - I'll include some LM317s though.

To complete the build you'll also need a power transformer and rectifier and I would suggest a CR filter upstream of the regulators might be worthwhile. Oh, and being class A some suitable heatsinking will be essential

Anyway, here's a picture of what's on offer;

I'm looking for £20 plus shipping, paypal fee included.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!
