Well that doesn't look so bad except, right at the end it seems that Boris the buffoon says there's nothing wrong with being 'woke.

So the “woke agenda” is presumably the intention of people who don’t like racism to try to do something about it. Sounds reasonable to me.

The problem, and this is very my IMHO, is that the woke and assorted folk who generally I would agree with, get used as "useful idiots" by those with aims I don’t agree with and are being weaponized to get rid of people on demand by just pointing out actions or posts in their past that from the light of today seems like questionable behaviour, but at the time was not or can be misquoted to seem poor. There are two cases at the moment I am aware of, RMS (the founder in many ways of open source software) who has many faults but in this case stood up (or at least tried to in a general autistic fashion) for a friend (Marvin Minsky) who got tied up in the Epstein case. Its of the benefit to commercial interests that he is sidelined from the free software movement. And the other one is Richard Dawkins who made some easy to take out of context comments about transgender rights.

Fair point, Nick. And by extension the right wing are then able to ridicule anyone whose aims contradict their own, making them appear to be in the control of hidden interests rather than trying to improve the lot of humanity.

Yep, in the same way as its in the interest of corrupt politicians to convince the public that all politicians are corrupt.

The Motown 20th Anniversary Album (Compilation - 1979 - Original vinyl)
Motown always sounds best on vinyl.

A couple of completely contrasting records, both on the original vinyl and both from the same year (1977.)
Elvis Costello - My Aim Is True
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours.
One of them is supersmooth, sophisticated late 70s AOR. The Fleetwood Mac album isn’t bad either.

Here’s a fun way to test your speakers for peaks in the lower treble region.

It’s one of the very few that survived my stupid (with hindsight) late 70s purge of my rock and prog collection.
Bloody punk, disco soul and 2Tone. Didn’t think it was possible to like it all. Oh the folly of youth BAH!
