Yes, it's a DIY speaker wire. Made out of partially sand-filled conduit, with a desired number of twisted pairs extracted from Cat6 taped to the outside.

I wonder how they would compare in a double blind test against standard panel cabling e.g. 4mm tri-rated 6381Y (any colour!) at about 0.5 euros per metre (including VAT) ?
