Picked up today, JVC TT-71 turntable with a Mu25 based plinth made for a 12inch arm.
Added my wooden arm (using a Denon DL103M cartridge) but the spindle to pivot distance is about 7 mm out so will have to make a hole to fit an arm board, so it will take 9 and 12 inch arms.
Sounding good but once the distance is sorted I am expecting great things

Good news but I have to say that the arm board is the wrong 'colour' - it would look much better if it matched the trim on the plinth.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Getting some serious hum and everything I tried did not work so going to rewire the arm, with 3.5 foot of cable from the tags to the phono plugs and sort this out.
While waiting for all the stuff to be delivered, created another arm board (not painted yet!!) and dug out my old Rega RB300 - works very well. Needs raising around 1 mm but still sounding good
