Well, I guess the inductance will form a tuned circuit with the capacitance. Thing is, if it was a thing that happened, all someone needs to do is post a picture of a scope showing a burst of oscillation with a metal film and it not being there with a carbon composite. Maybe there is such out there and I have failed to find it...
