#1 Kelvin capacitors 4 lead.

Post by pre65 »

I came across a reference to a Kelvin capacitor today, and it referred to Morgan Jones. I checked my third edition and there is no reference to them in the index.

I see Hi-fi Collective stock 4 lead Clarity caps for PSU use and I wondered if the suggested benefits make them worth trying ?

Well the blunt at HFC seems persuasive.

Paralleled pairs might do same....
If the Leed inductance is main issue

Cant see how it would, the problem its trying to address is the combination of lead inductance and the shared path that charging current through the cap and output current from the cap takes with only two leads.
Little known fact, coherent thought can destructively interfere with itself leaving no thought at all, that’s why I prefer incoherent thought.
