As I'm going to rebuild 833a in the future with increased HT I need some higher voltage rated wire.

RS do some 1500v wire, so a reel of red should do me.

Silly question. I assume my 600v rated black wire is still OK for ground connections. :oops:

That depends on the routing. Inside the amplifier there are posts such as valve bases which have a voltage which exceeds the rating of your black cable, so either watch what it comes close to or use 1500v rated cable for that job also.
