I'm a bit confused about what you mean Colin.

On that circuit the centre tap is not used.

Yep so am I Philip :)
But you have answered the question I was after CT is not used for some reason I keep think the CT must be connected to OV
i am looking to get near 300v from the 150-0-150v don't like TX thay confuse me :?

It's NOT connected to 0V, but it IS at 0V. Do you see the difference ?

Just ignore the centre tap for the way you are using the transformer. :)
